On January 23, the first session with the ex-ROB ZOMBIE and MARILYN MANSON guitar player John 5 took place with MÖTLEY CRÜE in anticipation of their forthcoming shows with DEF LEPPARD. Shortly afterwards, Nikki Sixx, MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s bassist, posted on Twitter with great excitement: “Well that was f**king epic.

“@john5guitarist walks into rehearsal and we just rip the set from top to bottom seamlessly. That took 90 minute’s and then the next few hours we just laughed and told dumb rockstar war stories.

“@MotleyCrue DAY 1”.

As previously reported, Mick Mars has retired from touring with MÖTLEY CRÜE due to worsening health issues, and has been replaced with John 5Mars still remains as a member of the CRÜE, but he will not participate in any touring activities.
