As reported by Alternative Nation.
Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello teamed up with Tim McIlrath again just a few days after their performance of “Set It Off” during Audioslave’s set at the Chris Cornell ‘I Am The Highway’ tribute show at the Forum in Los Angeles. Morello took the stage as a surprise with Rise Against yet again at the Forum in LA, as his goal is to perform in Los Angeles every day this week. Rise Against guitarist Zach Blair tripped and fell during the performance, which you can view below.
Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell tweeted,
“Tom Morello is really turning out to be a treasure of a man. As genuine of a fella as there is. You look into his eyes and you see a strong sense of direction, and that- where he is coming from, is from a good place. Came up together in the music biz. So cool to see him thriving.”
“So much has happened since we last spoke. Performing downtown in support of UTLAnow strike @TomMorello, performing for children who are at risk-Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation at the Forum. This feeling of doing for others. It has made me more likable. I even like myself more.”

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
