SILIUS are a Thrash Metal band from Austria formed in 2013 by Mario “Haui” Haueis. Since then the band released a demo(n) including four songs (2014) and their debut album “Hell Awakening” in 2017. Over the years the band got a lot of live experience and they played all over Europe on the biggest festivals like Wacken Open Air, Metal Days Slovenia, Nova Rock Festival and shared the stage with bands like Crowbar, Biohazard, Arch Enemy, Soulfly, Obituary etc. “Worship To Extinction” is the band’s second full length album. Silius comment for their new offering: “We decided to go heavier and create a raw and destructive atmosphere on this album. It’s definitely fast and heavy as f**k! We recorded the songs at Subsoundstation studio with Andreas Reinhart a friend of us, who did a perfect job and created an awesome vibe and energy for us in every particular way like recording or mixing. The comfortable aspect that we can all be together in every process of the recording and fun time we had, gave the record a special insight of this kind of music. For the mastering process we chose Henrik Udd from Sweden who did a perfect job too! We are very proud of this album – it’s completely destroying from the 1st to the last track!” The cover artwork and layout is made by Giannis Nakos at Remedy Art Design. A perfectly fitting depiction of the music that gives the viewer impulses on themes like religion, corruption, lies and faith. Highly recommended and a must have album for fans of PANTERA, LAMB OF GOD, EXODUS, TESTAMENT etc
