NASTY HIGH are a hard rock band formed in Nottingham in 2015 by Dan Bentley (lead vocals), JB Haze (bass) and Mazzy Speed (drums) with a desire to encourage younger listeners to discover 80s music, to inspire them to pick the guitar instead of the DJ booth and to bring huge stadium rock hits back to the forefront of the music scene. Taking their inspiration from legends such as Winger, Harem Scarem, Mr. Big, Loudness, Anthem and Crazy Lixx, the band are known for their wild energetic live performances, huge vocals and squealing solos, completing their first small tour of the UK with Kane’d in early 2018, which culminated in a triumphant set at HRH AOR VI festival alongside Skid Row and Joe Lynn Turner in March.
With new lead guitarists Arron Beckworth and Nick Constantino both joining the fold in 2018, lead singer Dan’s vocals were most recently featured on the Crazy Lixx lead single “Breakout” and the album track “Weekend Lover” from the “Forever Wild” album released on Frontiers Records in 2019 after getting to know the band from supporting them in London and Dan being their roadie / driver for Hair Metal Heaven in Hull 2017.
The band matured with their new lineup and honed their sound which is very evident in their latest offering “Where The River Runs” in March 2020, with sales of the album already mounting in the USA, Europe, Australia & Japan after only a few weeks of release, primarily from hype from their crazy live show and word of mouth online.
As more and more legends of the stage are doing their last farewell tours, Nasty High are young, hungry and ready to keep the fire of hard rock burning, rising beyond the challenge set by their idols.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
